Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What are the approximate water tank capacity and body dimensions of the X80?
The water tank has a capacity of approximately 270ml, the body weighs approximately 1.05kg, and the dimensions are approximately 150×130×270 mm. The design is lightweight and portable.
How long does it take to preheat? How long will it take for steam to start coming out?
After connecting the power and pressing the power button on the back, the indicator light will flash to indicate that it is preheating. It will start to produce steam stably in about 20 seconds, and the indicator light will change from flashing to solid.
How to properly add water and start the steam?
Simultaneously press the buttons on both sides of the water tank to remove it. Add water until it does not exceed the maximum water level line, then put it back into the machine. Plug it in and press the power button on the back to preheat. After the light stops flashing, press the steam button on the front to release steam.
Approximately how hot is the steam? What precautions should be taken when using it?
The steam temperature is approximately 100–120°C. Do not aim the nozzle at people, animals, or clothing to avoid burns. Also, do not touch the nozzle or surrounding hot surfaces.
Does the X80 have automatic power-off or anti-dry-burning protection?
The product features anti-dry burning and intelligent automatic power-off functions. When the product is not used for a period of time or the water tank is low on water, the internal control will cut off the heating and the indicator light will flash slowly, which helps reduce accidents and save electricity.
Can I use tap water? How can I prevent limescale buildup?
The X80 can use regular tap water. If the water quality in your area is hard, it is recommended to use distilled water or perform descaling regularly to extend the life of the internal metal parts and maintain a stable steam output.
How do I descale a garment iron? How often should I do it?
Add approximately 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water to the water tank, heat and allow the mixture to evaporate completely. Repeat 2–3 times until the steam returns to a smooth flow, then repeat once more with water. It is generally recommended to do this about twice a year, depending on the water quality and frequency of use.
How should I clean and store it after use?
After each use, turn off the machine and unplug it. After it has completely cooled down, empty the remaining water from the water tank and wipe the body and nozzle with a soft, damp cloth to keep the steam holes free of limescale. When storing, it is recommended to place it upright in a dry, cool place and avoid moisture or direct sunlight.
